About the Speaker

Dr. Leila Hamed Kazim is an Emirati physician, workforce wellbeing strategist, and operational wellbeing leader with more than 18 years of experience spanning healthcare, occupational wellbeing, psychosocial risk management, and frontline workforce transformation.

She currently serves as Staff Engagement & Wellbeing Manager at ENOC, where she leads strategic wellbeing and psychosocial safety initiatives across a workforce of more than 6,500 employees operating within high-risk, operationally demanding environments across the UAE.

Dr. Leila is recognized for pioneering a systems-based approach to workforce wellbeing — moving beyond traditional wellness programs toward operationally embedded psychological health and safety frameworks aligned with business performance, leadership capability, organizational resilience, and risk reduction.

Under her leadership, Retail Operations at ENOC became one of the first organizations in the Oil & Gas sector within the MENA region to achieve ISO 45003 certification for Psychological Health & Safety at Work in November 2025.

Her work focuses heavily on psychosocial safety, burnout prevention, workforce psychological readiness, fatigue and stress risk management, operational resilience, and redesigning work environments to support sustainable human performance.

Her approach combines medical expertise, operational understanding, evidence-based wellbeing strategy, and human-centered leadership design — allowing organizations to bridge the gap between occupational health, psychological safety, workforce engagement, and business sustainability.

Leadership Philosophy

Burnout is not always an individual failure. Often, it is feedback from the system.

Dr. Leila advocates for a future where organizations stop treating wellbeing as a side initiative and instead embed psychological health, operational sustainability, and human-centered design into the core architecture of work itself.
